SIGLASys
Design a stakeholder mobilization system without coding.
SIGLASys is an online civic engagement platform that equips volunteers to contribute actively to eliminating hunger in their own communities. By engaging individuals to move up the Ladder of Citizen Participation, teams get to co-create improve nutritional outcomes in their own communities. Early prototypes of SIGLASys will draw features from the Limasawa nutrition program, Oaktree youth movement in Australia, Marshal Ganz' grassroots organizing training, and MIT's Global Health Informatics to Improve Quality of Care course on EDx.
Objectives of the SiglaSys Project are:
prototype and test web- and mobile-based solutions to enable youth volunteers and Sangguniang Kabataan officers without coding (using Google and other free online tools)
to increase behaviors at the household and barangay governance levels that reduce food insecurity and childhood malnutrition
to deploy Bridging Leadership or adaptive leadership interventions to co-create enduring institutional arrangements at the local level
