Are you ready to help end malnutrition and transform lives in BARMM? The Zero Malnutrition Impact Fund Fellowship (ZMIF Fellowship) is a 12-month applied program that brings together emerging leaders, technical experts, entrepreneurs, and policy innovators to co-create the Zero Malnutrition Impact Fund.
This Fund will deploy patient, blended capital to SMEs, cooperatives, and social enterprises producing, processing, and delivering safe, affordable, and nutrient-rich foods to underserved communities in BARMM.

As a Fellow, you will:
- Help design an innovative two-tier financing model that rewards measurable nutrition outcomes.
- Apply global Nutrition Impact Investing Principles (NIIP) to improve food systems.
- Collaborate with policymakers, investors, and communities to embed local ownership and peacebuilding.
- Gain hands-on experience in impact fund design, pipeline development, and governance.
Program Phases:
1. Immersion & Mapping – Understand the nutrition and investment landscape in BARMM.
2. Fund Co-Design – Work with experts to shape the Fund’s structure.
3. Pipeline Development – Identify and prepare SMEs for investment.
4. Financing Mobilization – Engage investors and partners.
5. Launch Preparation – Deliver a launch-ready Fund package.

Selection Criteria:
- Commitment to BARMM’s peace and development
- Relevant technical or entrepreneurial experience
- Willingness to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team - Ability to dedicate 8–10 hours/week
· Investment Scope: Nutrient-rich food production, cold chain systems, food safety upgrades, and last-mile distribution.
· Capital Structure: Patient capital plus performance-linked grants.
· Impact Metrics: Reduced stunting and wasting, improved food affordability, increased supply of nutrient-dense foods, and inclusive participation of women and youth.

By the end of the program, Fellows will have:
- Co-created a launch-ready Zero Malnutrition Impact Fund blueprint
- Built a pipeline of 15–20 investable SMEs
- Become Nutrition Impact Champions capable of sustaining Fund governance
- Strengthened public-private-nonprofit alliances for nutrition and peace in BARMM
